About 2 weeks ago, our laptop started acting weird, and then it just completely crashed. It is only a little over a year old, so we were definitely frustrated. Kevin worked on it in the evenings - extremely patiently (if it had been me trying to work on it, the computer would have been thrown out the window onto the street below, so that trucks could run it over continuously). He spent a lot of time on the phone with Matt (the amazing brother-in-law, computer genius!)
A few days ago, Matt took it home to work on it and the next day it was fixed! He had to totally wipe it clean, so now we have a practically brand new computer with nothing on it. Kevin was able to copy all of the pictures (yes!) and other files that were important before it totally died.
THANK YOU, MATT, for all of the time you spent helping us!
So, here are a few updates that will be coming soon to this blog near you:
Papa's 60th birthday!
Easter
Mission Romania progress
Mother's Day
and I'm sure there are some other random things I will post about
A cute story for Uncle Matt from Jake: Today we were reading Harry the Dirty Dog and the little boy in the story was holding a car by the string. Jake asked me "why does he have a car like Uncle Matt?" I was totally lost for a few seconds until I remembered the dachsund car that you pull with a string that Matt has at his house.
