Washington Square
Who wheels a piano into Washington Square every weekend? That guy apparently.

This is what I expected all of NY to look like, thankfully it was not all like this. We did ride in a cab. Quite an experience.
We had a great time in NY with Mike! Riding the Bolt Bus turned out to be a pretty good deal. I did enjoy not driving/riding in a car to get everywhere. The subway was great, considering that we had Mike to keep us from getting lost. Seriously though, we had a fun time. The food, company, and time without the kids was awesome!
Reasons why I could not live in New York City:
1. I do not own enough uncomfortable, high-heeled, expensive shoes.
2. Cigarette smoke.
3. Crazy taxi drivers.
4. Too much good food within walking distance.
5. Multiple levels of subway, seriously, how is that safe, and how can one figure out where they are going?
6. Itty bitty living space. (I don't have any pictures of Mike's place, but wow, kudos to him for living there. The toilet and shower aren't even in the same room. The toilet room is so tiny you can't hardly close the door. Apparently the person who lived there before Mike's roommate got the place raised 5 children in the 2 bedroom apartment.)
