Sports camp in Gornesti was so much fun! It lasted from Monday-Saturday. We did a different sport each day - Monday was soccer, Tuesday was Handball, Wednesday was Volleyball, Thursday was Basketball, Friday was Javelin, Archery, Horseback Riding, and Fencing, and Saturday was Soccer again. It seemed that each day more youth came. Of course, soccer is their favorite sport and they were so talented and intense during those games. Handball is another favorite, and many of the girls loved it and played well. I had fun learning how to play handball, which had a lot of dribbling. At first my team put me in the goal - big mistake! I finally convinced Zoli to let me play because I can dribble well. I especially enjoyed the Volleyball day, it made me so happy to see them trying something somewhat new and getting better throughout the day. Of course, it also tested their patience and perseverance.
Each day at the beginning of camp, there was worship music in Hungarian and some English. Then Jason would share a message with Attila translating.

One afternoon we went to the river near the camp. Nimrod + clay + silliness = a clay fight :) I know there were others involved - Jeno, Paul, Melissa, Brianne, but Nimrod was definitely the most involved!
