We had to make more room in the house for all of the family coming over for Jake's bday, so we had to get rid of the Christmas tree. Instead of dragging it through the house and leaving needles everywhere, we threw it over the balcony...Jake LOVED it! He told everyone who came into the house what happened to the tree that day.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Lisa gave Jake a gingerbread house for Christmas, and we finally got to it on his birthday. Kevin was keeping Jake busy while I got ready for the party. It goes without saying that BOTH of them ate more candy than went onto the house.
Poor kid had a fever on his bday, but he seemed ok after his nap. Overall it was a great birthday, we had so much fun with all of the family that was able to make it.
