After having irregular contractions all day, my doctor sent us to the hospital. When we arrived at 6:30, they made us walk for an hour. The contractions were MUCH more regular by then, so they admitted me at 8pm. The doctor broke my water at 9:15pm, I got the epidural around 11pm (5cm)...then I was able to take a couple of naps in between nurse visits.

Kevin waiting to go into the operating room. At around 3:00am on Jan. 8th, the doctor told us that I would have to have a c-section, because during each contraction Jake's heartrate would drop. Kind of scary, but we knew we were in His hands. Everything worked out and we have a handsome baby boy :)
