Still catching up...Kitchen Remodel

When we moved in we got a new fridge after about 2 weeks of the old crusty one. Then this summer we got a new dishwasher to match, and in November we took out the old countertops (yellowy off-white) and had Corian put in. We also put molding around the edges of the original cabinets, painted them and put new hardware on them. For Christmas we bought a new stove. Now all we have left to do is put a microwave above the stove! It looks like a completely different kitchen, we're so pleased with it.




Notice the plain ugly cabinets and drawers and the yellowish countertop...



And notice the yellowish stove...if you have been to the house you also know how it ticks after you turn the oven off...so glad that's over!

Kevin and his dad, who helped A LOT! He helped with taking the old countertops out, putting the new faucet in, and putting the new molding on the doors :)



Here is a picture of our fridge that we got back when we moved in...and the painting of the shelves in progress...boy was that fun.

And the new stove! The light is new too, and yes we replaced the light bulb. We are still planning on getting the microwave over the stove, but I have to do more tutoring before we can afford that :)
